Feed Me Mother is Ireland’s first sustainable breastfeeding and maternity clothes brand. We’re dedicated to empowering breastfeeding mothers to look and feel stylish and comfortable.
The bold idea for Feed Me Mother came after the birth of my first baby in 2017. I found myself rummaging through the maternity section of high street shops only to find one or two unappealing nursing-friendly options at the back of a rail. Yuk.
I couldn’t stand the breastfeeding tops I owned because I didn’t look or feel myself in them. I felt like I was dressing up as someone else and totally disconnected from my personal style. And don’t get me started on all the hidden holes, zips, and flaps…fiddly and irritating.
I just knew there had to be a solution to both these problems.
I wanted a breastfeeding wardrobe that reflected my own style and personality, that was comfortable but gave me the confidence to feed freely, anywhere I wanted. And I knew I couldn’t be alone in feeling this way.
With that in mind, Feed Me Mother was born. I decided to design my own breastfeeding t-shirt in a beautiful sustainable fabric called Tencel™. You can learn more about this amazing fabric here.
